The first attempt of application of infrared thermography in medicine was made by Canadian doctor Raymond Lawson in 1956 for the diagnostics of the breast cancer.

For about 50 years of history, thermovisual method became popular and now is successfully applied in all fields of clinical medicine, especially for the early diagnostics of the breast cancer.
