1. General information

Medical Thermography is free online medical journal for open publications of the documents, related to the application of infrared thermography in medicine. Journal is published by Inframed Central.

Publication and access to the journal is free of charge.

Journal is published in electronic mode and contains three types of resources:

• Scientific articles, reports, books etc.
• Computer programs and databases
• Advertisement information

Journal is published 2 times per year - July and January.

2. Language

Journal is published in English and Russian languages. Any material submitted to publication must be presented in English, translation in Russian is covered by company Infrared Intellectual Industry. Computer programs and databases may be presented in English only.
Editor has a rights for technical correction of the text.

3. How to submit the article

Article or book

Submitted material must contain the following sections:

1. Type of the document (one of the following types: original paper,review, report, clinical case, discussion, book).
2. Title.
3. Author list with address of each of them. It's very pleasure to give a short presentation and photo for every author.
4. Correspondent author is marked in text by underline and his E-Mail, phone/fax and post address is presented..
5. Abstract (not more than 1 page).
6. Keywords.
7. Basic text of the article.
8. References.

Advertisement

Advertisements are showed in free resource and its contains is defined by authors only.
Advertisements are presented in graphyc images in BMP, JPG or GIF file formats, the dimensions of the image are not more than 150 x 200 mm, resolution 100-300 dpi.
Information concerning future seminars, symposiums and other meetings is not concerned to the advertisement. These data will be showed free of change on the "News" page of the web-site during actual period.

Computer program and database

Computer programs and databases are submitted by sending the CD to the address of Editor by ordinal or express-mail. Every program or database must be described with the followed information (not more than 1 page);

1. Title of the producer (company or private person), who has a copiright for this product.
2. Name of the author/authors of the product.
3. Full commercial name of the product, distribution mode (freeware, shareware, limited edition).
4. Brief description of the product, including the following fields: operation system, program language, database format (if exists), typical hardware requirements, hard disk space requirements, installation and deinstalation mode, using additional external application (Microsoft Office components, Internet Explorer etc).

To submit the article or other material is necessary to make the following 3 steps:

1. Send the material to Edior by:

• E-Mail - all related files must be packed in one archive file of ZIP, RAR or ARJ format and attached to the message. The size of the message with attachment must not exceed 3 Mb - in other case these files must be submitted by ordinary mail.
• Ordinary mail: CD disk with files (in this case, please, don't pack the files).

Submitting the material for publication means that the author/authors agree with "License agreement" about the copyright.

2. During 10 days after receiving the material Editor will inform author about possibility/impossibility to publish the data or about necessity to make a corrections. For advertisement documents Editor informs author about the cost for publication.

3. Publication the document in Medical Thermogaphy is free of charge, except the advertisement (please, contact with the editor).

Technical requirements for publication

Concerning the technical requirements to materials Editor is stand on the position of "International Comittee of Editors of Medical Publications" (1997), but our requirements are softer.

Artiles and books are accepted as DOC (Microsoft Word'2000) or RTF file formats. Sections of the text must be marked by different font. All tables and titles of figures must be placed in the end of document. Page size - A4, portrait orientation. Editor will change the desing of document to keep the same publication style.
The size of the article is not limited (except by the common sense). If the size of the book exceeds 50 pages, it's recommend to divide the text in several parts (files). Because the post-processing and translation work the short articles have a chance to be published faster than the large ones.
Images can be presented in BMP, JPG or GIF file formats. File name must be related to the number of figure (typical file name are fig01, pic01).
